Henri Le Sidaner (1862-1939) and Henri Martin (1860-1943) were painters who worked closely in France from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. The two artists, working on production while travelling to various parts of Europe such as France and Italy, deepened their friendship by exhibiting at the Salon des Artistes Français. They built up their own style of painting, while absorbing various expression techniques of the same era, such as Impressionism, Neo-Impressionism, and Symbolism.

The exhibition entitled “Henri Le Sidaner - Henri Martin”, organized by Mr. Yann Farinaux-Le Sidaner, the art historian and author of the complete catalogue raisonné of Henri Le Sidaner, explores the path of two artists, Sidaner and Martin, pursuing their own unique styles.
