POP ART: THE FAB 4! & 4 SPECIAL GUESTS

2024
"Pop Art" was born in England in the 1950s and flourished in the United States in the 1960s. In this exhibition, we will explore the appeal of the "FAB 4" (Fabulous 4), four artists who represent the Pop Art movement in the United States of America.
POP ART: THE FAB 4! & SPECIAL GUESTS

One of the characteristics of the FAB 4, including Jasper Johns (1930-), Robert Rauschenberg (1925-2008), Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997), and Andy Warhol (1928-1987), is their use of everyday motifs such as numbers, flags, newspapers, and advertisements. By examining their works, which continue to have a profound influence on contemporary artists, this exhibition will provide an opportunity to reflect on the contemporary cultural scene.

The exhibition is composed of the collection of Joseluis Rupérez, a collector in Madrid.
